We had a blast at Ignite and hope you did too. We expected to have 300 folks but ended up with about 500 people in attendance. It was a fun night.

Ignite After-Party

This year we’re excited to announce that we’ll be awarding an Ignition Grant to an innovative project that will help positively impact the Rails community. The grant will be at least $2,000 in cash. The grant can be awarded to an individual, non-profit, etc. There are no restrictions on how the funds can be used.

The recipient of the grant will be announced at this year's Ignite RailsConf.

We're looking for a wide range of talks and are currently accepting speaking proposals - submit your speaking proposal now! Not all of the talks will be Rails-specific but all will be of interest to Rails developers.  You do not have to be a RailsConf attendee to attend or speak at the event.  Proposals are due by 5 pm ET on 4/21/10.
